Busy January!

Clean Wheel

Today was a cleaning day, I’ve been throwing with red clay most of the month. I cleaned the wheel, tools and bats so I can change to my whtie/light colored clays.

Kiln load

The kiln is half loaded.

These are some of the mugs towards my goal of 20 mugs in January.

Welcome 2020!

This morning, I’m looking at 2020. I continue to have my pottery available in various galleries and gift shops in the Kootenays. “Yes Please” in downtown Castlegar carries a good variety of my pots, “Unwind, More Than a Yarn Store”, has a small selection, “Kootenay Gallery”, located by the Castlegar AirPort, is getting ready for their upcoming fund raiser, “Soup For the Cultured Soul” and I will be providing soup ¬†bowls and some new work for this event. I also have pottery in “Gallery 2” in Grand Forks. In Downtown Trail, I have pottery at “Ye Olde Flower Shoppe” on Spokane St.

I’m looking forward to once again being at the “Kootenay Festival” in July, in Castlegar and after a 2 year break, participating in the “Columbia Basin Culture Tour” in August, and holding my 2nd Annual Christmas Open House in Dec., yes I’m already thinking about December.
